


The Midwifery Collective midwives are credentialed at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) allowing you to birth your baby at SCUH with your known private midwife. This model of care is for women who want a private midwife but wish to birth in a hospital setting.
Not every woman wants to give birth at home and that is okay! Or there may be circumstances in your pregnancy that lead you to choose to give birth in a hospital. This model of care provides you with continuity of care during pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum, as well as advocacy, clinical midwifery care, and nurturing support.
